Is every joker a Tendulkar?

I will have to wait for more than a year to reach the age of India’s youngest prime minister but, of late, I am left cheering any good deed done by old people. Not that I feel old but I am increasingly being branded old.

Let’s say it’s mainly happening because of media’s exaggerated projections about what the 20 somethings are 'achieving'. I know Steve Jobs was 20 when he became king of Apple. But I would like to believe Steve achieved it despite his age, not because of his age. He may be able to do it better now. May be not ditto for Tendulkar, but then sportspersons have a shorter shelf life.

So do I have to be a teenager to achieve something?

I thought I got the answer 'no' after I saw my charms working with nubiles. They have made me believe that I am Peter Pan. But now my wife tells me that getting attracted to girls half my age is the real sign of old age. I guess it's VRS time.
